How to charge a Korean cell phone...

Note the two dangly things hanging off of the phone, the upper one is a Hi Seoul cell phone thingamajig that one of the gate guards gave to a friend when she brought him coffee from the new Starbucks (he gave her a whole bunch). The lower one is part of the charging device.

To charge the phone, first you have to separate the connector part from the holder that attaches it to the cell phone via the dangly cord.

Then, you have to plug it into the side of the phone after attempting to open the itty-bitty tiny slot without damaging the phone.
